Yes, we deliver in major ports worldwide. Let us know where you’d like your container delivered and we’ll provide you with a quote. We would mostly deliver via one way trip to cut the transportation cost for our customers.

What is the difference between Oneway Trip and Transportation
Most of the standard containers are delivered via oneway, which means containers are delivered together with the cargo and empty containers will be returned to our customers’ depots. However, Some special containers which are not adapt to deliver with cargoes or buyer would not like to adopt the method of oneway, Ocean freight will be charged.

What does a container cost?
Container prices fluctuate daily due to changes in supply and demand, available inventory, and other varying market conditions. For this reason we cannot post prices on our website, but we’ll be happy to provide you with a quote for either renting or purchasing the unit you need.

What does a container weigh?
Empty container weights vary, depending on the size. A standard 20’ unit weighs
(Approximately 5000 LBS) just over 2 tons, and 40’ containers weigh (approximately 8500 LBS) between 3.5 and 4.2 tons. For weights of other sizes, follow this link to our specifications page.

Where can a container be placed? What about site preparation?
Containers can be placed on almost any surface that is relatively level, smooth and firm. Dolphin can deliver on pavement, asphalt, gravel, dirt, concrete or grass as long as it isn’t too soft. Containers are self-supporting at the four corners, so if your surface is soft or unstable we suggest spreading the weight over a concrete footing, railroad ties, asphalt or gravel.
